Jeffery's send-off party was this weekend, and I'd have to say it was quite a success! Lots of people from near and far showed up to wish him well during his tour overseas. Hard to believe it's January already and he will be leaving soon...like very soon! It will be a long 9 months, but September will be here before we know it and he will be home.

We were a little afraid that we wouldn't have enough food, but as you can see we obviously had
an overwhelming amount, with lots left over.

New Years Eve!

It's the 3rd annual KFD pass the party New Years Eve Bash. This years party was at the Nagler's house. The theme was UGLY sweaters...which apparently was a hot holiday party theme this year. Believe it or not Goodwill was out of ugly sweaters! So people had to resort to making their own or borrowing from their mothers (haha...Laura:) As usual there was lots of food, fun, and laughter, a little Goldschlager....and even a $64 bottle of champagne!

Big Thanks to the Nagler's for hosting we had a blast!!

(Brayelle made it all the way til 12:00 to ring in the New Year...with a tiny nap in there)

...cause she's so darn cute!That is Keeler's surprise face! She was practicing it for Christmas present opening:) I think she got it mastered.

Big Fish!

Gramps speared a big one! 21.5 pounds and 42 inches long to be exact! He pulled it out of Sucker Lake. Although he told me to say that he speared it on Snowball Lake, because that's what lake Blake would always tell him he caught all his fish. Even though it was not true. Blake just didn't want to give up his secret fishing spots...YES Blake lied to my own Grandfather to keep his lakes a secret! That's ok...after many years Gramps will never let him live that down:)

Miss Keelie loves the camera!

Miss Keelie sure loved the lights on my camera...she studied it hard with a deep look of concentration in her eyebrows:) She didn't even loose focus as she was being poked in the face by another baby...So cute!

PS...yes I am aware of how wiggly this is...oh and disregard all the background noise there was a lot of commotion going on:)

One Last Christmas for 2009!

We had one last Christmas dinner for 2009 last night at Gram and Gramps. Uncle Denny brought the boys for rides on the sled behind his Johnson Skee Horse (I dont know if that is right Burandt said he read it off the side of the machine....judging by the colors I would have said it was a SnoJet, but Burandt insists its a Skee Horse:) Keelie fell in love with a new toy:)Uncle Denny's turn to hold Miss Keelie.Mikey and Solaya (his girlfriends daughter)

Rockin Good Time

The kids had a little jam session while the adults took a Sauna last night. They really seem to like the singing part of the Guitar Hero World Tour game...their favorite songs to sing were anything by Taylor Swift:)The snow melts off the roof of the Sauna when its lit and make little icicles all over everything....makes it look pretty:)Maybe I should have taken these lanterns down?!?!

Nothing beats a wintertime sauna!
