This year for the 4th of July... the Keewatin Fire Department (or it could have possibly been me) had a brilliant idea to have a dunk tank to raise some money and just have some fun! And let me tell you it couldn't have been a better day for it.... it was so hot out I think everyone wanted to be dunked in that tank! Well maybe not considering how black the water was. Mmm... doesn't it look scrumptious! It came right out of the pumper truck, so it was quite warm too.
Blake was first to go in! He drew quite a crowd...many wanted to dunk him! Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing :)

All in all I would have to say the dunk tank was a success we had 79 paying customers, which paid for the tank rental, and made the department about $320.00 Most of all it was a fun time and I think the kids really enjoyed it, and I hope we can do it again next year:)
